Help Wanted: HTML/WordPress Programmer – Alternative a plus

Your day (or night) will be setting up/adding/troubleshooting/tweaking/maintaining LAMP sites (mostly wordpress) and their themes, plugins, etc. You’ll be integrating affiliate programs, shopping carts, payment gateways. Researching new plugins, methods etc. I need you to CARE, I need to be able to RELY ON YOU, I need you to WANT to be an important part of this business.
I need someone who can WORK ON THEIR OWN! I love that you always have 22 different suggestions, but not be offended when I listen and then decide which way we’ll go. I need you to be proactive, hungry, creative, smart and driven. I need enthusiasm.
You must understand HTML and use WordPress for it’s ease of use, NOT because you don’t understand code. If you cannot easily edit the code behind the scene DO NOT ANSWER THIS AD. You must be able to make the site look and do whatever is needed as if it was a stand-alone site.
I have steady work (min 20 hrs per week but should be full time quickly if you want) that needs to be done on a timely basis. I am very flexible, the work just has to get done! You MUST be available at least PART of my day (approx 11am – 7pm EST) for communication.
I ’m not looking for the cheapest $4 per hour person from India, nor the most expensive. I am looking for someone who is willing to show me what they can do and I’ll be glad to reward them. There is TONS of opportunity here. This job can lead to MGMT position over time.
While it’s nice if you know graphics and layout, this is NOT as important as you knowing programming.
