NY Friends Need Housing Help 8/25/10

Our good friends, Thrash and Velvet have lost their apartment they have lived in for 13 years.
The building was sold and although they are trying for some legal help, the reality is they are more then likely going to be out on the street in a few weeks.

They need:

A new apartment or roommate situation, in NY. To make things more difficult, they have cats and need to be near mass transit as Velvet is disabled. Also price is a concern, so you can see how hard it will be for them to find something immediately with these requirements.

PLEASE PASS THIS INFO ON!

ultimately they are looking for a permanent solution but need a temporary one as
well.
